The Common Craft “In Plain English” videos–the ones on computer and web topics are terrific.   Here’s one to start you off:

Seth Godin’s book Tribes is a uniquely insightful look at why people are driven to engage in social media.   In this video, Godin offers a look into the ideas behind the book.

Need a simple website up fast and easy?  Try a free hosted option with wordpress.com or google’s blogger service, or a paid, drag-and-drop design setup with squarespace.com.  It’s possible to use your own domain name with any of these options.
